Read this article that got me seeing red. I've already turned off my telephone land line because I just did not want to deal with telemarketers. I've created a different e-mail address so I can cut down on the spam I receive on my real e-mail account. I've trained my friends and family how to successfully get me to answer their phone calls on my cell phone. Now I have to worry about spam going through SMS?!!! Not only do I have to get the annoying unwanted messages, now I have to pay to get them (standard text messaging fees).
This is totally unacceptable. Do these people really generate any money from the annoying messages they send? Who are the asses that are keeping these people in business? If everyone would just stop paying attention to these marketing ploys, it would no longer be a viable marketing vehicle for any company. So stop answering your phones if you don't know who's on the other line, delete all the spam messages you get (okay, C. you can keep reading the penis enlargement ones if you need to), and get your cells blocked for spam. If you have Verizon, here's how you can do just that.
