This is a Bad Sign

I've been busy lately because I was car shopping. I was wavering between a Barcelona Red Metallic Toyota Yaris S Sedan, a Dark Slate Nissan Altima 2.5 S, and Galaxy Gray Honda Civic EX. What I ended up with is a Morrocan Red Pearl Honda Accord SE.





Okay - not exactly what I wanted but the dealer offered me a deal I couldn't turn down. I was a bit hesitant with getting a red car because, statistically, drivers with red vehicles are more likely to get a traffic citation than any other color.

My car is brand spanking new - just got it on Monday. I've been driving for about 20 years and I've never gotten a ticket. I have no points on my driving record. Until this morning. I got a ticket because there was a pedestrian on an uncontrolled crosswalk still on the sidewalk and I didn't stop. I should have stopped - I won't argue with that - but she didn't really look like she was ready to cross.

I knew it was a bad idea to get a shiny new, eye-catching red car!
