I am thankful that ...
I woke up this morning and
I had a roof over my head;
I have a job that I like and
I have family and friends that care about me;
I still look forward to coming home every night
And that I get to do this all over again tomorrow.
It might sound a bit cynical to some but that's because in a lot of ways I am (not this time though). Actually, if you change your perspective just a little, you might actually see that this is quite as sentimental as I can get and that I am truly grateful and content. It's all a matter of POV - you can think it's bad or you can take it for what it is and celebrate with me.
